Marking its third consecutive year at NAB Show, CASTIS returned to Las Vegas with its boldest demonstration yet — an AI-powered media pipeline that tackles three of the industry's most critical challenges at once: how to monetize content smarter, deliver more personalized experiences, and manage growing media libraries with less effort.

Exhibited as part of the RAPA (Korea Radio Promotion Association) Alliance at Booth C4449-G, Central Hall, LVCC, the showcase made one thing clear: AI is no longer on the horizon for media services. It is here, and it is practical.

Monetizing Media with AI — Right Place, Right Ad, Right Moment

Traditional ad placement relies on schedules and demographics. CASTIS showed a better way.

By running computer vision directly on a live video stream, the system extracts real-time semantic metadata from the content on screen — detecting objects, reading mood, and understanding context — then automatically matches that metadata against registered ad inventory. When a match is found, the ad plays. No manual tagging. No guesswork.

The outcome is contextual advertising that responds to what is actually on screen, maximizing relevance for viewers and revenue potential for operators — all without relying on personal data tracking.

Personalizing Media with AI — Content That Knows Its Audience

The same AI infrastructure that drives smarter ads also powers smarter recommendations. As the system continuously enriches content with context metadata, it builds a dynamic understanding of what each piece of content contains — its objects, tone, and context. This becomes the foundation for viewer-specific content delivery: matching programming to individual preferences in real time, rather than relying solely on watch history or static profiles.

For broadcasters and OTT platforms, this means higher engagement, longer sessions, and audiences that keep coming back.

Managing Media Content with AI — Scale Without the Overhead

As content libraries grow, manual cataloguing simply does not keep up. CASTIS's AI pipeline handles this automatically.

Scene detection and metadata extraction run continuously across live and recorded content, generating structured, searchable tags without human intervention. Every piece of content is classified, described, and made immediately actionable — for ad matching, discovery, archive workflows, and beyond.

The result: faster time from ingest to distribution, lower operational costs, and a content library that works harder for the business.

With One Pipeline

What made CASTIS's 2026 exhibit stand out was not any single feature — it was the way monetization, personalization, and content management were shown working together as one integrated AI pipeline. Better metadata means smarter ads. Smarter ads feed richer personalization. Richer personalization builds a better platform.
