The FCC system's operation is elegantly simple yet intelligent. When a user requests a channel change, the system immediately transmits GOP-based streams cached in memory via unicast. Simultaneously, the STB begins receiving the multicast stream and automatically switches to multicast-only mode after 1-2 seconds. Throughout this process, users experience virtually no delay. As a software-based solution, it seamlessly integrates with existing systems.
